Players have been swinging punches at each other (and the staff) for as long as poker has been played live. The latest “fight” saw a 6 foot 250 pound plus dealer savagely getting pushed around by an octogenarian bully. One of the pushes was so bad, the poor lad had to go to the hospital to get checked out. Let’s hope he survived the MRI machine, if it was required.
Poker Bumfights Part 2 was first posted on X on Tuesday 27th October, in response to the news that 2003 WSOP Main Event runner-up Sammy Farha has been involved in a “brawl” in a Texas poker room, resulting in a lifetime ban. However unconfirmed reports suggest he was back playing again after a few days and the dealer involved was let go.
